Third Molar Extraction Live Surgery Course in TIJUANA, MEXICO

This course is designed to teach the general dentist simple, safe and effective techniques to advance their knowledge of surgical extraction procedures. This particular course is unique as it focuses on third molar extraction. It is a beginner-friendly course for those with little or no prior experience in third molar surgery, but it is also beneficial for experienced clinicians seeking to improve confidence with more difficult extractions. The focus of the course includes performing minimally invasive & atraumatic extraction of third molars. Participants will develop these skills through a combination of lecture, hands-on practice and completing multiple surgical extractions on live patients in a clinical setting. All course materials are included and lecture and participation credits will be awarded.

1. Design a plan for patient safety through proper knowledge of anesthesia, incisions, surgical flap design and suturing techniques.

3. Identify and execute safe extraction of multiple types of 3rd molar cases.
4. Perform live surgery on patients under the supervision of an experienced Course Director.
5. Improve surgical skills in preparation for the next level of third molar extraction.
